Mr. Kabbara has over 20 years experience in a wide range of finance and banking roles. Based in Los Angeles, Mr. Kabbara is now a personal investor, cryptocurrency enthusiast and day trader. Previously based in New York City, Mr. Kabbara led the Transport, Aviation, Logistics and Professional Service sales teams globally for HSBC Bank for the firm’s Global Liquidity and Cash Management division. He previously led the firm’s US Regional West sales team, which covered a broad spectrum of US and International based clients mostly in the technology sector. Prior to this, Mr. Kabbara was a member of the Global Banking & Markets sales team dedicated to leveraging HSBC’s relationships in order to grow the bank’s foreign exchange, interest rates and metals market share along the USA’s West Coast.
Until 2014, he was working from San Francisco with corporate and institutional clients, helping them navigate the difficult task of expanding globally, highly focused on guiding Silicon Valley technology companies into Asia. Mr. Kabbara started his HSBC career in the corporate sales team after joining from Commonwealth Bank of Australia in 2010. In this role, he focused on growing the international footprint of publicly traded Australian mining, engineering, metal distribution and construction companies. Prior to Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Mr. Kabbara also worked for AMP Financial, the Virgin Money Group and global service provider Teletech.
